WORSHIP AND COMMUNITY

 

A number of regular events and activities take place each week.  Some are worshipful services, but others are to benefit the whole Flixton community.

Sundays

​

  • 9 a.m. Eucharist (a said service on the first Sunday of the month)

​​

  • 10 a.m. Sunday School in Church Croft (term time only, not first Sunday in the month)

 

  • 10.15 a.m. Parish Communion

​

  • 10.15 a.m. Orchard Service (an inter generational service with no communion on the first Sunday in the month)​​

Mondays​

​

  • 3.40 p.m. ​Family Church inside our church building, all welcome (term time only) ​

Wednesdays

​

  • 9.15 a.m. Sprouts, a weekly pre-school service in church (term time only)

​​

  • 9.30 a.m. Walking Club, meet inside the church (first Wednesday of the month, term time only)

​

  • 7 p.m. Poetry Group in The Church Inn (first Wednesday in the month, term time only)

​

  • 8 p.m. Pub Church in The Church Inn (first Wednesday in the month, term time only)

Thursdays​
​

  • Our Thursday morning Holy Communion services are organised in partnership with our friends at St John's, Flixton.

​​

  • The first and third Thursdays will be at St John's starting at 10.30 a.m., and the second and fourth Thursdays will be at St Michael's starting at 10.15 a.m. If there is a fifth Thursday in the month the service will take place at St John's. Flixton.

​

  • 2 p.m. Mothers' Union in Church Croft (third Thursday in the month, term time only)

Fridays​

​

  • Friday Night Prayer (on Facebook) from 9 p.m. during Lent and Advent only
