CHRISTMAS FAIR

 

Join us for some festive fun! 

Get into the Christmas spirit at our Winter Fair at St Michael’s Church and Croft, Flixton, on Saturday 22nd November 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.!
 

It is hoped that a concert by the children from the school will be included, as well as the ‘traditional’ sing-along led by Marjorie and Michael on their ukuleles.


In order to cut waste and save on storage, it has been decided to run the stalls that have proved to be the most profitable in the recent past.  These are the cake stall, refreshments, tombola, raffle and a children’s stall that will include hair plaiting and face painting, along with a couple of games.


Up to four stalls will be made available to charities or craft makers. However, these should not duplicate what we are offering.  No cakes/drinks or refreshments.  If you are interested in renting out a stall, please see Paul/Sue/Cheryl/Lesley/Charlotte. The cost is still to be agreed, but registered charity stalls will be offered a discount.
Before the event, your assistance will be needed in any of the following ways, if you are able:


a) Homemade cakes on the day
b) Suitable prizes for the tombola stall (about 150 needed).  For all ages. Bottles of alcohol (wines and spirits) are especially popular.  These can be left at the back of the church from 2nd November. Some will be used for the raffle
c) Cash donations/sponsorship to help pay for advertising banner, refreshments, prizes, etc.  Please place in an envelope marked Christmas fair donation and give to those named above.
d) PLEASE NOTE – we do not want any bric-a-brac, toys, books, jigsaws, etc.
